Credentialing and Contracting Coordinator

Ambulatory Management Solutions, a leading anesthesia management and ambulatory-based, peri-operative consulting firm, is looking for a full-time Credentialing and Contracting Coordinator to support our medical billing and contracting team.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Complete payer and PHO/IPA credentialing and re-credentialing applications; re-attest with payers as required.
  • Create, maintain, and re-attest CAQH for our clients' employed providers.
  • Resolve contracting and/or credentialing issues with payers for specific providers or provider groups. 
  • Maintain contracting logs.

Ideal candidates for this position have…

  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience contracting and credentialing providers with managed care plans and governmental payers; experience credentialing providers with hospital systems preferred.
  • Recent experience adding and maintaining providers in CAQH required.
  • Experience cultivating strong professional relationships with individuals within all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and project management skills; detail oriented; ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
